  • Dreamlink T2 5G Issues

I have a recently purchased Dreamlink T2 5G. My only App use to-date is Dream Online 2 and watching live TV.

I have the following issue I need help with:

    1. After finishing a session watching live IPTV on my Dreamlink using Dream Online 2, I either switch off the unit with the remote or I switch inputs on my Samsung Smart TV and watch satellite TV or input from a USB drive. The next day when I switch the Dreamlink unit back on I am unable to get any live TV channels from the Dreamlink unit. I get an on-screen message on a black screen that the EPG is loading and eventually the TV icon and the word LIVE appear on screen, but no working channels. If I exit IPTV and re-start Dream Online 2, a split second message appears on screen about IPTV loading then the screen turns blue. Eventually I get a nonsense message about checking my internet connection, despite the fact that my internet connection is working fine. No amount of back and forth, starting and re-starting the unit with the remote makes any difference. The only solution that works is to disconnect the unit from power to enable a power-on re-start. I am using the latest version of Dream Online 2 and all updates are installed. Is this normal behaviour or am I doing anything wrong?

    Thanks Kevin

I would clear the cache on the dreamlink it's in the settings I believe in the heading android also try using a different port like 2nd or forth slot if all fails perform a factory reset but first write down your donation number and url server info keep us updated

Thanks Moose. Ryu's technique of holding down the menu button for a few seconds fixed the problem.

or just hold down menu button for couple of seconds and then press red butt to kill all the apps or arrow down to kill one at a time.

As I use it every day, unplugging it every night would lead to unnecessary wear and tear on cable connection points. I live in New Zealand, my iptv provider does not supply any NZ channels. Secondly, I watch some satellite tv because iptv does not provide the sport I wish to watch.

I just got my T2 5G and have a weird issue with IPTV. It's directly connected to the router and works great except for playback will skip backwards about 2 seconds so that the last couple of words spoken is repeated. Do I need to adjust buffering time or make any tweaks at all in Settings?
