I am wondering if it is my internet provider blocking. If I connect using my vpn it gets to portal loading screen and locks up.

I dont think the servers would allow you to connect but try it anyways

Before I found out I did not need a vpn I always used one this was only a few months ago that I stopped using the vpn.
