Black screen in the mornig.

When I turn my T.V. on in the morning all I get is a black screen . I can go to movies and they work , Go back to the T.V. and the channels are back up, running Mag 254 is my box messed up or what. I do leave it connected at night and just shut down the T.V. the other night frezzing every 10 to 20 sec.
